We sure could use help at cornerback. How often do players released by the Pats go on to another team and do well ?
Much safer to hold out for an Eagles, Packers, or Bears reject !
Just being sarcastic here, but it seems like a lot of second tier players that had their better years with other teams end up with the Vikings. I call them dumpster picks.

I'm really unhappy with how the Tampa 2 (or whatever defense we are running now) seemingly kills safety production. Sharper was even run out because of it (his great year the following season proves it was more the scheme than it was the player, IMO).
Now, don't read that into me being upset about Sharp leaving. I'm not mad at that one bit. I'm just perturbed a bit about how no matter who is plugged in back there at safety (SS or FS) the results are the same.
That said, I'm not sure even a healthy Harris would help. But honestly, I don't think it would hurt to try. Right?Vegans are eating the rainforests. =(
