Worst Vikings jersey purchase you ever made?

I just found the worst Vikings jersey that I've ever purchased in the back of my old closet. Fred Smoot #27 home jersey. I have bought 100 jerseys in my day, but that one definitely takes the cake. Do you guys have any Vikings jerseys that you see and immediately regret ever buying?

I buy the jersey of whoever we got with our first round every year - whether that be by pick or trade. But since I only wear it for one year, none of them have been too bad - not even Williamson, who didn't look horrible his rookie year. Last year's Cook jersey was a little rough.

I did order a stitched Randy Moss jersey for my son last year - and he was off the team before it arrived. So I guess that will have to be the worst.

Anyways, I don't have any that I don't like as I usually buy ones for players I like. Does help that I don't have many Offensive jerseys though. Seems like I'm a bit more tolerant when it comes to the defensive side of the ball.

Anyone have dupes? I have 4 K-dubbs, 2 CC's, and 4 Moss.

I assume you mean the first pick of the draft & not the first round of the draft, otherwise you'd have a Dimitrius Underwood Jersey in the back of your closet hidden behind your Culppeper Jersey.

We also had two 1st round picks in 2005: Troy Williamson, which you said you bought & Erasmus James.

I don't regret anything that I buy that has the purple and gold on it, but a couple that some might think would fall under this category are:

Authentic on-field Daunte Culpepper the summer before he got hurt in Carolina.

Michael Bennett home jersey

and though it's not a jersey, one of my favorite clothing items besides a Moss rookie draft "20 teams passed me by and i'm gonna make them all pay" shirt is my "Going to Miami" shirt they had made before the 98 championship game. Still brings back pain though.

i usually get my jerseys on sale from guys who don't play anymore.

my first was a Hovan jersey, he was my favorite player, but he left the season after i got it.

i have a brad johnson away jersey and a koren robinson home jersey i got at MOA the fall after they both left. paid $15 total for those two. and i just got a Birk home jersey for $10 at the locker room store a couple weeks ago, proud of that. got the wife a Rice *barf* jersey for $10 too.
