Thread: Worst moment as a fan?

In order to distract everyone from "*insert quarterback's name* to Vikes" threads, I've taken it upon myself to make a new thread.
Anyways, what is your worst, most heartbreaking moment as a Vikings fan?
You know, a moment that made you just want to cry(or actually cry), and dig a hole and crawl in it and die?
For me, it's easy.
It was ten years ago when I was a wee lad of 10 years old.
I was pretty new to fandom, and I was very young.
My Vikings went 15-1, and they were Super Bowl bound, or I thought they were at least.
All we had to do was make that damn field goal...wide left, are you kidding me?
Automatic Anderson, 39 straight field goals, you can't make that!?
Anyways, that moment is seared in my mind, and to this day I still slightly cringe when I see a Falcons jersey...
I feel like to be a true Vikings fan it's almost a rite of passage to have your heart just ripped out from your chest by the Vikes.
My second worst moment is probably the 2000 NFC title game..although to be honest I wasn't sure we were going to win that one anyways.
I just didn't think it would be 41-0...
So what is yalls?

for me its the 2000 NFC Championship game.

They were doing great that season, and bam...
blowout.

Has to be the 1998 NFC Championship Game for me.
The 2000 one was bad too, but it just became comical after a while.

Both of those are definitely on the list.
I put the SB losses, the drew pearson bullshit, oscar reeds fumble during the SB that changed the momentum of the game, hershel walker, les steckel as coach, mike tice as coach, etc.
Way too many to list.
All those experiences make it that much better when they finally win the big one.

I was watching america's game with the redskins, and they were giving daryl green for making the huge play that forced the incompletion there.
Just about threw my remote at the tv.

And for some reason, I've never been able to get Art Monk pushing off (vs. Joey?) in obvious offensive pass interference for the late, game winning TD that took the Skins to the bowl when I felt we had a better team out of my head!!

Yeah, doesn't get much worse than that.

I remember seeing Moss balling in the press conference. That really effected me for some reason, made it more real.
