Burleson is a real class act!

Oh and if this has already been posted then close it! Thanks!

Burleson? How about Moss. He goes out of his way to help the guy and the team out for NOTHING, and not one word about him.
I think he probably meant Moss too. I don't think you could read that and come away with a bad impression about him, IMO. But I agree, Burleson seems like a great guy, who doesn't have an ego about where he's been or where he's going. He seems very grounded, there's a lot of guys in the NFL who think they're all world and wouldn't listen to any older player as a mentor no matter if it was Jerry Rice or whoever.

Moss seems like an all around good guy to me. I just think that "love" he has for the game got him in trouble over the years because he displayed it in the wrong way. He loves the game so when the Vikes lost to the Skins he was really upset, which caused him to walk off the field. When he scored that TD against the Pack he was having a s*** load of fun at that time, so he decided to be a jokester with the GB crowd. I think all of his pranks and things that got him in trouble came from noble emotions and feelings because he loves the game so much.
I think PPE meant that some didn't focuse much on how Moss was being a positive influence on a former teammate of his, and wish to keep adhering to what they saw as negative about Moss. He shakes things up and has a lively personality, and sometimes he couldn't keep his composure, but he was still a pleasure to watch here. I think the affect of the trade will really kick in once the season starts, not seeing number 84 in a purple uniform anymore will be weird in the begining, but the feeling won't take long to wear off since I am pumped about the Vikes this year.

That is a great read. Moss went out of his way to still help the Vikings organization, and giving tips to a man who isn't even on his team. Burleson will really suprise people this year.

real good read GQ, too bad espn or fox will never say anything about this because all they want to do is find the things that make moss look bad, but it sure seems that nate has learned alot from moss and that he believes the sky is the limit for how good he and the vikes can do next season and beyond

They are both class acts. Moss always got a bad rap for being just himself. The rest is history and time for Nate to prove himself as the #1. For all our sakes, hope is does it sooner rather than later.

    Darn good read.

Its great to see that he has the confidence he needs, but has his ego in check. He'll do great this year.
