Re: Witnesses are surprised that McKinnie, Johnson jailed
Typical ... Would be nice to know if anyone else who "refused to leave" got hauled down to the station also? Probably not ...

Re: Witnesses are surprised that McKinnie, Johnson jailed
If this were to regular Joe Schmoes none of you people would be saying it's bs they got arrested. Know the ENTIRE story before making comments on whether or not someone broke a law or not. Do cops do everything right? Hell no...but I've never seen anyone get arrested because of who they are. For every one person I've taken away...I've let 10 go.
Concluding I'll let you guys in on a little secret. Placing handcuffs on well known people is the last thing most cops want to do these days. It opens yourself up to lawsuits, public ridicule, and you know that person is gonna have a powerhouse attorney. That attorney will most certainly try to make you (the arresting officer) look stupid on the stand for doing your job. Have any of you considered that maybe Mr. Mckinnie and Johnson thought they were above the law because they play a sport? I think that situation is more rampant then police officers arresting people because they are nfl players. Give me a break.
