Winning just enough not good enough
Do you REALLY want the Vikes to win?

Jim Souhan is a jerk, in my opinion, but he presents and interesting delimma in this article. If the Vikes start winning enough Chilly may save his job. If they continue to lose, he's gone. So what is it?

Re: Winning just enough not good enough
I thought it had probably been posted already, too. But I did a word search and didn't find it and I looked through all the Vikes headlines in the Vikes post for the last two days and didn't see it. Unless it was posted within some other thread. Then I may have missed it.

It is right here.

This is something that I have already thought about and contemplated, but the bottom line is I could never hope our Vikings lose.
I think at this point that squeezing into the playoffs at 9-7 is not good enough to preserve Childress' job. We need to see some domination and heart. We need a play-off run to the championship game, and a good showing in that game IMO. I am not sure if that is what Wilf needs, but is what I need to regain the faith that I have resently lost in Childress.

Hummmmm, the headline on the article changed. No wonder I couldn't find it.
