MANKATO, Minn. - This is his year.

Veteran cornerback Antoine Winfield can literally feel his game rising to another level, one that most certainly will be validated by a long overdue trip to the Pro Bowl.....

Winfield is long overdue a pro-bowl invitation. What was once a pretty thin CB group, has become a team strenght. Our young guys have a chance to learn from one of the best. Tear it up Antoine.

    Great Quote:
Vikings safety Dwight Smith said Winfield is a better "cover corner" than four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Ronde Barber of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"You rarely find a guy who can hit and cover in this league," said Smith, who played with Barber in Tampa from 2001-04. "It's hard to find safeties that can do that. So (Winfield is) a rare athlete."
I hope he shows everyone this year again what he is capable of and makes the Pro-Bowl.

That is rediculous. How can you say a guy is going to make the pro-bowl before the first game? Especially someone that has not been there recently. I'm not saying he won't make it but to say it will "most certainly" happen is just plain stupid. I refuse to read the remainder of the article on the principle that this writer is an idiot.
