Winfield or Woodson?

Who would you think is better? Winfield or Woodson. Im watching the 49er game right now and they said that it doesnt get any better then the practices between Moss and Woodson, but who do you think pushed Moss more? Woodson or Winfield?

Whoo, tough question. And ironically, one I considered while watching the game.

Charles Woodson is a phenomenal corner. Excellent innate ability, good height, good size. Great speed, of course. Smoother out of his backpedal than Winfield.

Winfield is a smaller guy, but scrappier. Stronger. Better on the jam. And, because of his height, has learned to time his jumps extremely well to defend the ball. Better tackler.

It's really a toss up. My personal - and biased - guess would be Antoine Winfield. Seems to me he'd have more success by jamming Moss and blanketing him, rather than Woodson, who would probably try to jump with him.

That is a really tough question. If you woulda asked me last year, I woulda said hands down Woodson, but after watching 'Toine all last year it becomes much closer. He just doesn't get the exposure that a lot of these other guys (like woodson) do.

To answer the question: I think I would rather have Winfield because he's very good in coverage, but also is probably the best run supporting corner in the league.

Woodson is better in coverage but Winfield is a harder hitter...

hhmmmmm. I guess I will say Winfield but that is tough. They are both real good but I'm a Vikings fan so I'll say Antoine.

As an all around corner, I'd have to say Winfield gets the edge here, he combines cover skills with run support, Woodson has speed and athletic ability but is not as hard nosed as Winfield..

Winfield...he is a Vike!

C-wood is a better coverer and will get you more picks.. Winny is solid in coverage but tackles much better.. So C-Wood is a better match up I believe

As an overall corner I would have to go with Winfield because he has the tackling skills of no other corner in the NFL. He is pretty good in coverage and has a good verticle. I think that Moss has a harder time with woodson because he is a better coverage corner than winfield.
