To get an idea of how important Antoine Winfield is to the Vikings, consider this: He continually has challenged authority, been outspoken, and rubbed against the grain. And yet he has just agreed to another long-term contract from an organization that loathes all of the above.

I was so happy when I read that he signed. For one reason he is a veteran and dominating force on the defense. He sometimes looks like he knows the other teams offense better than they do. Also I just bought a Winfield Jersey of eBay last fall. I am happy I won't have to put it into mothballs.

Funny thing about this article..........I think its the best article that fat ass has written since I've been reading his crap.

The deal sounds like a good one for both sides so least now he will head to camp a happy bunny.

That is of course, only if they are winning. If they aren't winning, if Favre is throwing INT's or if Berrian, AD or Harvin aren't getting enough touches that they or other players feel they should get, things could get ugly in the locker room.

And while Winfield feels he & the veterans can keep the team undivided, I don't believe he/they can change what some players are thinking & feeling.

They could get ugly with TJ and Sage too.
