Winfield: No Spine Injury
Vikings hoping cornerback Antoine Winfield will be able to play Sunday
The Vikings will "hold out hope" that cornerback Antoine Winfield can recover from his neck injury in time to play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, coach Leslie Frazier said Thursday.
A magnetic resonance imaging exam revealed no damage to Winfield's spine, but if the Pro Bowl cornerback can't contribute to today's practice, he'll be a game-time decision.
