Vikings: Winfield, more in tune with coach, ready to work out

The Vikings' Brad Childress has improved lines of communication, which has made his cornerback happier.

It sounds like chilly is learning one of his bigger lessons in being a head coach... how to communicate effectively with his players.
He has never been a head coach and there is an obvious need for some adjustments on his part.
I hope we continue to see growth on his behalf and the core players on the team

I agree with that and Chilly also concieded that he would let Bevell call the plays this year. ;D

QUOTE
"On our end, it was the offseason," Webb said. "I know the Vikings would have loved for him to be over there. And part of Antoine wanted to be there. But sometimes you need a break. We look at it like he was just cashing in vacation time, like any other employee would."

I still feel this was a major part of the reason.

Anyway, it's nice to see he is coming back amicably.
What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. Its the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Is that a done deal? There was talk about it but I don't recall reading that it was going to be a for sure thing.

I recall last year, more than one player expressed concern that he would not listen to his players.

Sounds like there is a good possibility it will happen, but I was making a joke!
