.....and Del, we all need a good rant about the disaster that is Ted Cotrell.
If I hear Michelle Bonner say "He works that one to right" one more time, I m getting on a plane for Bristol, going to the ESPNEWS set, and ripping out her vocal cords.

Buh-bye Teddy. Don't let the door hit you on your fat ass on the way out.

On a team where the coaches have some control, AW would be in serious trouble for speaking out. Since he's right, and the coaches (TC primarily) can't defend his statements it will go on with the BS that "we just need to win and everything will be okay, then they will believe in my system". Sorry man, the wins won't come by wishing for them.

    Let the player mutiny begin.

Not doubling Smith the whole game was reason enough for Winfield to critizise. I mean, thats a no-brainer for even someone like me (who saw football for the first time in 98)! Smoot looked depressed and frustrated in 2nd half and I don't blame him.

Cottrell, single handedly broke down our biggest free agent acquistion. Way to go #$%#&@er.

I don't understand why Antoine Winfield didn't cover him.

This myth about Smoot being a better cover corner needs to go away. Everyone was all on 'toine for giving up a TD on a ball perfectly thrown to Donald Driver's outside shoulder, and then we started letting Fred "Most TD's given up by a corner during the 2004 season with 12" Smoot cover the #1.

See how that shiz worked out?

How many times have you heard this quote from our defensive coach:

Cottrell said he and his staff are constantly making adjustments.
My question is, what adjustments? I haven't seen any and apparently neither has Winfield when he says,
Nothing happens on the sidelines, and they run the same plays over and over again."

If AW was allowed to play physical then I think he would have been better off covering Smith.

The way the coaches approached it I doubt it would matter who covered the guy. The last two years have not been a fair indicator of our quality at defensive back.
