Is this win a "first?"

Edinger didn't miss one kick today! Is this a first for him of going perfect in a game? I think it is in a Viking uniform, anyway.

i think so. but i still dont think edinger is a bad kicker. i would like to keep him after this season.

Oh, I totally agree to keep him. But I thought it was interesting.

No Edinger has been perfect in two other games (Week 1 and Week 7) and has generally been solid in the dome (12-14) while a little sketchy on the road (5-11) Though he has attempted some toughies on the road and also had one blocked ...
On the season that is 17-25, which is not terrible or good, right in the middle.

He also a solid 5-7 from 40-49 and 2-4 from 50+ (7-11 from 40 and up) which is very solid ... that does leave him a less than stellar 10-14 from 39 and down though.

yea, i think i read your intial post in this thread in the wrong tone.

Bottom line is Edinger has not cost us games, but won us games! :grin:

Sums it up ... if he was not a miserable 1-5 from 30-39 he would definitely be a pro bowler right now with the clutch kicks he has hit and his solid accuracy from long-range.

I agree. It seems that he misses all the kicks except the ones that clinch games....We're not complaining though...Tough luck Bears...Your loss!
