I sure hope so, why wasn't he working hard in the previous offseasons?
I really hope he has a great year.
Personally, I don't buy into the WR woes.
I would be more concerned if the Vikings would have paid big $ for the FA WRs this year.
IMO paying Bobby Wade 3 million a year is overpaying, lol.

I dont believe we have WR woes, but rather WR doldrums.

TW should have had a better year last year.

We signed 2 former eagles last year that performed well enough to be #2 or #3 guys.

We cut Marcus Robinson who probably was our best able to perform WR

We signed Bobby Wade (who I think will do a very good job)

We did an excellent job in the draft, but we still need to see them perform.

??? Marcus was injured on more than one occasion last year. He finished in 4th place with only 381 yards.

Re: Williamson's work will pay off in the fall

I heard today that Sidney Rice has lit a fire under Williamson's ass and he's been catching everything (even though it's only been a couple of days). I hope that he breaks out of his funk and actually turns out to be a good WR for us. I guess that'll depend on wether or not he stays healthy and out of Childress' dog house.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

After an eye consultant tested him and gave him some drills to follow, he is prepared to have a breakout season, coach Brad Childress said.

He damn-well better have a breakout season!
Cuz as of now, he's been a HUGE disappointment!!!
No QB is accurate enough to zip the ball into his facemask every time!
    LOL ;D

I sure hope TW plays well this year.
If not, he may have to come up here to Canada.

That could be a little difficult seeing how Rice hasn't signed yet & is not in camp.

Besides, they aren't even practicing until tomorrow.

I hate it when anyone brings up that T-Will has/had eye problems. I am not buying into the idea that he had any kind of eye problems. That sounds like a really lame excuse for not being able to catch the football.

I just hope he can turn it around this year and I am behind him 100%
It is just lack of confidence.
He should have went to a psychiatrist instead of an optomotrist.
    He did.

He thought he had a problem but didn't know what it was.
The Nike guys made something up to fix and now his confidence is back.

That or they really did fix it.
Either way the booboo is apparently all better.
Excellent point, however the key word here is apparently.
After all, he "apparently" looked great at the start of the last 2 seasons, not to mention (but I will), the reason why the Vikings drafted him.

Good point not only is "potential" a dangerous word, but I guess "apparently" is too.

i'm sure he means the fact that they drafted Rice means Williamson is fighting for his job, and he realizes that. Also, you can't tell me that these guys arrive two days before practice and don't at least go out and throw the ball around a little.

    This is good news.
