Re: Williamson won't let go of new bravado
Well at least he has not lost his confidence. I have not been too tough on him since we knew he was going to be a project when we drafted him. Yes I know, wide receivers are supposed to catch the ball regardless of the level of play but if he was learning routes and adjusting it could make him lose concentration. I am hoping that with experience he can show why we drafted him with the overall #7 draft pick in 2005.

Thanks Josdin

1200 yards and 10 td's would be a good way to start his rebirth

"It's going to be a good year for me. I've got the confidence in myself that I'm going to make that happen."
True story.
Kevin Seifert
I hope that TW can do it also.
If he has 5 drops all season, that will be more acceptable than 11.
Any more than 5 and it will be disastrous.
Not that there is a fine line and 5 is the cut off, but he needs to significantly improve.
No drive ending drops this year.
You can do it!

Re: Williamson won't let go of new bravado
I like to engage in what I call confidence sports myself...skiing, climbing, snowboarding etc.
You have to believe to succeed.
I WILL make that turn!!
(Sometimes, or die.
I've had a season pass for 13 years now, so I can push it sometimes
)
So many beginners struggle because they believe they will fail (and set themselves up to do so in the process.)
True, we knew TWill was a project when they drafted him...perhaps the thing to keep in mind, is that all those drops last year were for first downs and/or TDs!!
It shows that he is getting open, and being in the right place at the right time...maybe all he needs is the belief to succeed to finish the job!
We know they're going to stack the box against us...the oppurtunity will be there for passing TDs this year.
"It's going to be a good year for me. I've got the confidence in myself that I'm going to make that happen."Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
"Balance it on end and thats the third side of the coin!!" -wookiefoot

Re: Williamson won't let go of new bravado
Can you say "Comeback Player of the year" 1st Pro-bowl? Just think if he had hauled in all those dropped balls last year. I like what I'm thinking.
