Re: Williamson 'taking his game to the next level'

Troy brings his game to the next level.... Peewee Football.

lol. Before he was just at the "catching the ball with dad in the front yard" level.

As far as TWill goes, I will temper my expectations after being tormented last year. I drafted him in all 3 of my FF leagues

    You're sick
I've been a Viking fan since I was just out of diapers, hopefully we get Super Bowl win before I go back in 'em.

I was very impressed with him against the Rams. Let's not forget, he's faster than hell.
    You can't coach speed.
    :P

Actually, I was pretty impressed with him against the Rams too. Granted, almost all of the passes to him were quick passes where he didn't have time to think or adjust.
Last year he did a good job catching those too.
It is the deep ball that he has to think about that he seems to have trouble with.
    Let's hope for the best...
Yea, the deep balls are the ones he really looked out of whack on.
It seems as though its not his hands as much as it is his ability to locate the long ball and judge it correctly.
Hopefully a fair number of those 100,000 balls he caught in the offseason were of that variety.

IMO he had trouble catching the ball long and short.
He dropped two crucial third down passes to my recollection.
One was against the Bears and I forget which team the other one was.
His problem(s) don't just stem from a deep ball or a short ball.
It stems from him using his body to catch the ball and closing his eyes.
    Both can be corrected.
However when you watch him and he uses his hands instead of his shoulder pads, gut or helmet, he usually catches the football.

I was happy with him against the Rams and I hope he keeps it up.
They re-air the game tonight at 10pm EST I think.

    Why is he sick?

Do you play Madden or anyother game on a computer.
Heck I was in 5 leagues last year and will probably be in at least 3 this year, depending if they get it running on this site.

Takes me all of 3 minutes to set my roster depending on how many injuries my players may/maynot have.

Join a league if your not in one.
    Its fun.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
