Williams Suspension
Any news on Kevin's Suspension?
I know the case is resolved but the NFL hasn't said anything about the players that should be suspended due to this case ( Williams, Smith, etc)
I think the NFL is going to let it go and try and sweep it under the rug.

Re: Williams Suspension
My understanding is that both players will miss the first four games. But I am not sure.

Re: Williams Suspension
I know that they lost the case. I guess my point as is the NFL has not stepped in and said they intend to. In fact if you read any article, they always mentioned that he, may be gone. Nothing is being said about it in definite terms.
For example
http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/127074933.html
"Frazier said Letroy Guion has nose tackle abilities but is working at the 3-technique tackle spot behind Kevin Williams. That means Guion, a fifth-round draft pick in 2008, would start alongside nose tackle Remi Ayodele if Williams ends up having to finally serve a four-game suspension for testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug."

Re: Williams Suspension
Don't worry my friend. We have Fred Evans on the roster to eat up some reps.
JK, even with this looming out there, I am kindof excited to see what the defense looks like this year.
From the articles I've been reading and the stuff I've been hearing/watching on the NFLN and Sirius, there seems to be a logic behind the rotation this year with guys like Ballard, Guion, Everson and Reed really looking sharp.
Mix in a JA that seems to have his head on straight and Rob returning, I kindof like what I'm hearing.
Only thing that really bothers me was the addition of Remi. Although I'm not against bringing him in, the Aints let him walk and went after Franklin who I think is alot better fit than Remi is, mostly cause the Aint's staff thinks so as well.
In the end, I really think Coach Pagac will give us something to really cheer about on the other side of the ball, regardless of a few player issues. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
