I ran across this on prosportsdaily rumors.
I don't know about any of you but I wouldn't mind seeing Roy Williams in purple.
He, Rice, Williamson, and Allison would make a pretty good WR core IMO.
With TJs arm and his development it could be pretty interesting.

I would take him for sure!

Williams and Jones, who were both first-round draft picks in 2004, will become unrestricted free agents after next season and sources close to the players say theyve had enough and want out.

Well you would have to wait until 09' because there is no way Detroit trades him within the division.. I think the better bet is that Millen gets bounced and the new GM tempers this flame... Detroit has weapons on offense.. just need to improve light years on the Defense.

I made the mistake and read the article wrong.
For some reason I thought it had said after this season.
maybe I was too exited while reading it.
I could still wish.
I think the guy would be a great compliment to the team.

I'm not sure if I like him.

He is in a passing passing passing offense, and still complained before the Vikes Lions game that he wasn't getting the ball enough.

Imagine how much he would complain if he was in our run first offense?

I'll stick with our developing WR's

Roy would look great in purple.
I don't see Williamson in purple next seaon though.

We have had alot of luck with players being good who are named Williams! Pat, Kevin , Mo, Brian, etc.

Agreed. Happy with the way our WR is shaping at the moment. Wouldnt say no to someone like Fitz or Chad, someone who will go and get TJs bombs!
