Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

What kind of question is that?
LOL!
Are you going to be on board at 14-2?
It would be fun to see some people fall overboard.
Boats usually only have a limited number of lifevest to throw.
Don't get too close to the edge.

I just want to beat Green Bay. I can handle losing to Pittsburgh.

Simply mystifies me why the local hacks don't support this team a bit more.

But of course I'm on board if we go 6-2.

Re: Will you stay on board if they're 6-2?
It's how you finish, not how you start.
Last year the Steelers were humiliated in September by Philly, then lost 2/3 to the Giants and Colts at home to drop to 6-3.
In 2007, the Giants and Eli looked laughable for much of the regular season and stood at 7-4 after 11 games.
In 2006, the Colts couldn't stop the run with injured defenders unable to contribute, hitting a low point with their 3rd loss in 4 games, giving up 300 yards rushing to Jacksonville.
In 2005, the Steelers lost their third in a row to fall to 7-5.
Those are your last four Super Bowl champions, none of whom were winning beauty contests during the season.

Absolutely. At this point in the season, what matters is that you haven't taken yourself out of the playoff picture. It's how you finish, not how you start.

Home field advantage is big, so the W's matter, but it is all for not, if you're not playing your best ball in December.
Tennessee another case in point.
That's a big reason why I don't panic at this point in the season if the team plays like shit once in a while, or don't take too much comfort in being undefeated.
The potential to be great and getting it figured out late in the season is what matters.
We have a ways to go to hit full form and fully expect to have some letdowns throughout the season.
Injuries to key people can take a great team and make them average pretty quickly.

Shiat...if we're 6-2 at the bye I'm selling the rest of my season tickets and switching allegiances.
I hear the Bills are a team on the up swing.
