As long as he doesn't need to throw it 40 times a game he should be good for the rest of the season. But, if he keeps getting hit like he is, he won't. He needs to stay healthy and be productive all year to show the pack!

Favre showed his risky side with rainbows downfield last year with the New York Jets.Funny how the deep ball and accuracey throwing it has been glossed over because of his velocity.......He was off-target for most of last Sunday's game against San Francisco, but the winning drive in the final minute was a vintage performance.
Besides, we all know it isn't how hard you throw it."It's fine," wide receiver Bernard Berrian said. "T-Jack throws harder anyway."
Its the accuracy or TJ would still be out there.....

I hear ya my friend, however, at times I believe we (on PPO) are a bit over sensitized to drops by recievers. Believe it or not, all of em drop passes at one time or another.

"When he first got here it was a change of pace, but Tarvaris Jackson doesn't throw any softer," rookie wide receiver Percy Harvin said. "Since I've been here, I've been catching pretty hard balls. I catch them from him so many times it becomes routine."I doesn't surprise me that Tarvaris Jackson throws harder than Brett Favre."It's fine," wide receiver Bernard Berrian said. "T-Jack throws harder anyway."
1. If there is one thing that Tarvris Jackson does not lack, it's his arm strength. Tarvaris Jackson has one of the strongest throws in the league. I would definitely say that his throw power is somewhere in the top 10 in the NFL.
2. Tarvaris is young, and physically in his prime.
3. Brett Favre is old (duh!) and it is no doupt that his arm is not as strong as it once was.
Hower, we should not forget that Brett Favre still has a strong throw. Considering that he's 40 years old, he has an incredible throw power that no other 40-year-old quarterbacks are close to pocessesing.
I bet that he still has more power in his arm than than the majority of the starting quarterbacks in this league. Without a doupt!

Anyone can throw hard, it's about throwing hard with accuracy.
