The Vikings are a young team and are going to be mistake prone.

    It's a fact.

I'm not going to make my final decision about TJack right now, as it'd be too much of a knee-jerk reaction.
After the season, and after I cool down, I'll think about it.
Not that what I think really matters, but I hate to be an internet crybaby without having some sort of justification.
    ??
    a mistake prone team??

A mistake prone lineman can get some penalties or something like that if the play involves him.
A mistake prone QB will ENSURE defeat for the team.
A guy in his first year starting is going to make mistakes.
If you somehow think that a first year player is going to step in and be exceptional in every way, make the all pro team and play perfectly, well...in that case, you're an idiot and have unrealistic expectations created in some fantasy bubble world where every kid plays perfectly all of the time.

Well, you're an idiot by your own statment.
Who's the first year player here on this team?
All the ones i can think of are doing great and one is headed to the pro bowl.
The player i'm thinking of is a 2nd year player and is stinking it up worse than any first year qb in the league.

    Re: Will Tjack ever improve

    Oh, excuse me.
    Allow me to clarify.

    The first year starting player.

Some of you people make me laugh.
I mean, it's as if they expect the guy to trot onto the field and immediately start out chasing after Favre and Marino's records or something.
    It's laughable.

Look at how most quarterbacks play their first year starting.
The vast majority of them turn the ball over, make poor decisions, force things too much and generally play like...well, like it's their first year starting.

    Sorry if you got buttsore.
If you had said, "He's playing very inconsistant, and hasn't yet shown the flashes of potential that make me think he's the long term answer at quarterback." I could see what you were saying.
However, expecting a first year starter at the most complex position on the field to be mistake free is a little unrealistic.

He just isn't a consistent qb, he has poor accuracy and is making some really stupid decisions.....Right now NO, maybe in a few years after sitting behind a veteran..........Ugh i'm sick to my stomach right now with this team

    Give the kid a break.
h has come out and played a much better second half.
This game is far from over.
Lets give it a chance to play out first.

    Re: Will Tjack ever improve

tjack has shown some improvement this year. i can't see starting over at qb yet. some work on the mechanics in the offseason will help him.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.
