Re: Will Burleson make the pro bowl this year?

Unfortuneately not, unless he has an absolute monster year that is and I can't see that happening because the ball is going to be spread amongst all our receivers/tight ends/backs.

He may well be the leagues best kept secret, which is fine by me
My head is spinning round, I don t know what to do...

The offense will be more balanced so he won't get as many touches, also depending on how the draft works out he might end up bieng the #2 guy.

    2004 Nate had 1006 yards 9 td's 50 first downs
14 over 20 yards and an avg of 14.8 yrds a catch.
Moss was hurt last year and Nate was against alot
    of those #1 corners.

Compare his stats with Moss T.O. or anyone else
I think many will be suprised.

This guy is a legit #1 reciever and with Robinson,
taylor, Cambell, Jim and Jermaine backing him up
dam What does he have to do to get some respect.
We don't need Williams or Edwards nice to have
    but not a need.

Yes Nate goes to the Pro Bowl.

i think one thing people are forgetting is this..

some people will be tuning in to vikings games this year to see if the vikings offense runs well without moss. and if burleson has an awesome year.. people just might look at him as the guy who didnt let down the recieving core post-moss era.

I don't think that eighter one of those gusy (edwards or williams) can come in and be better than Nate. Nate is gonna be our number one guy no matter who comes in.

No chance, without Moss he will get a lot more attention this year and he is not good enough to be a #1 receiver.

I agree with that. There are very few people that understand exactly how good Nate is outside of Vikings fans. That's why you never hear a lot about him, but after this year, he'll be a premier reciever. My opinion is, he makes the pro bowl hands down.

Re: Will Burleson make the pro bowl this year?

He'll have the opportunities to get the ball, but with the spread of passes amongst everyone, then he'll have to hold onto each and everyone.
In addition the Pro-Bowl is also a quiestion of who has the fans attention, not having so many national games will hurt him in that respect.
However, as El Barto said, I'd rather he was a well kept secret and concentrated on getting to the Superbowl instead

WOW! I guess someone was covering Moss on the
sidelines with his injury? Nate had over a 1,000
yards and 9 TD's that is better than alot of teams
#1 guy  Have you seen Nate play??
