I have to agree that I would also like to see the retractable roof stadium. :3some: Makes no sense to exclude any possibility of ever hosting a SuperBowl or any other revenue generating events.

I'd like a retractable roof stadium too...that would be awesome. Then you have the best of both worlds.

Think of it...we're playin the Pack, the Pack suck in domes. Close the roof.

well..well.....well.... about a year and a half ago I had to go to court for a speeding ticket. On my exit of the courthouse I noticed a petition to build us a new stadium....and what kind of fan would I be if I didnt sign that sum bit(h!?

Here is the latest info I have received as of today!

Dear Vikings stadium project supporters *

You have not heard from us for awhile, but two recent developments may
bring the Vikings stadium issue to the forefront once again:

1) Mr. Zymunt (Zygi) Wilf has been approved as the new owner of the
Vikings, along with a group that includes some others in the Wilf family,
among others. We see this ownership change as positive to the Anoka
County/Blaine stadium effort, as Mr. Wilf has expressed a great deal of
interest in developing a stadium in Anoka County.

2) The Governor has called a Special Session that has already begun,
and we anticipate that stadiums may be among the items discussed.

This email is to alert you that we may be seeking your assistance if
these new developments lead to increased stadium discussion and activity
at the Capitol.

The problem is when it is cold and we could have a huge advantage over a team like the Bucs, they will close the roof because everybody will be crying that it is too cold.

I am in favor of an open stadium.

But, if they leave the roof open for every game then I favor the retractable roof. Look, those of us who grew up in the harsh climate on MN can handle a few hours of cold to see our Vikes play. I you can't give/sell your tickets to somebody that can.
