Wildcat
Here is a topic that has not been discussed much, but may actually become more important as the season progresses, if we are going to run this offense at times.
Here what I want to know from starting this thread.
1. Who likes the idea of running this type of offense?
2. Miami is the home of the wildcat, how often did they run it.
3. How would we run our?
The reason I am starting this thread, is because I know little about it. In fact it seems to be in it's developmental stages. How do you think it will affect the of quater back situation. Will it help cover up that problem. To me it sound like it will to some extend, but to what extent will that be if any?

Re: Wildcat
It seemed to me the Dolphins tried it every game and multiple times if it seemed effective.
I think it's exciting and can work great with Harvin. I think it was Bobby Wade who just said the other day that Harvin can throw well enough for it to work but so can any of the quick offensive guys besides Peterson lol.
I wouldn't mind using it from time to time but I don't want to get carried away with it and don't think Chilly is the type of coach that would. It'd be great to just do it every so often to teams know we can.Skol Vikings! Go Cubs!

Re: Wildcat
The Wildcat could be something to watch out for once in a purple moon. I say
that it could be one of those things that could be a sucker punch and most teams may not see it coming. The wildcat could show up just after the Vikes get the ball past mid-field? maybe in the redzone? . But then again it may not be used at all this year..Damn all this second guessing myself.

Re: Wildcat
The Wildcat is a formation, not
play.
It could work very well for us.
To open us the formation to passes, we should put TJ in motion from the WR position.
He can either take the direct snap and continue in a bootleg motion or take a handoff and and throw.
The biggest issue with the wildcat as it stands is how limiting it is in the passing game. However, MIA's QB was not as athletic as TJ
