Re: Wild card possibility?
it'd take some luck to get into the wild card but we still have a chance at winning the NFC North, if only those darn bears would lose so we could tie it up with them!
Re: Wild card possibility?
I think we have a better shot at winning the division. It'll all be decided when we play Chicago in week 17 most likely.

Only 2 games out of wild card. Tampa Bay and NY have tough schedules ahead so there is good chance Vikes will get final wild card spot. Vikings only have 2 road games left and 4 home games. Right now I see it as Vikings, St. Louis and Tampa for final spot.
1.Seattle
2.Dallas
3.Chicago
4.Carolina
5.Atlanta
6.Vikings
You forgot about the Giants...you think that they are gonna fold?
Re: Wild card possibility?
i think the only way we can get in is if we win the division. the nfc actually looks good this year and there are alot of teams that have a better chance of us at the wildcard. seattle dallas carolina should all have their divisions. leaving a bundal of teams for 2 spots. atlanta, bucs, washington, nyg. and then bears and vikings for division and wildcard.
Re: Wild card possibility?
Playing for the wild card is just not a safe option. I have no idea how the Bears beat the Panthers, but they have to stop playing so well so that we can snatch the division from their hands. It is very likely this year that a wild card team has a better record than whoever wins the NFC North.
Re: Wild card possibility?
If we win out (I know that is a dream...but if Dovonte can dream, then so can I), then we will probably get in...it is POSSIBLE!!!
BUT we have to do it ONE GAME AT A TIME!!!!
Re: Wild card possibility?
At least we get the tie-breaker on the Giants if it comes down to it, but right now we trail T.Bay, Atlanta and Washington in the tie-breakers, so if we end up tied with any of those teams we could be in trouble ... I dont like our chances for the wild card honestly ...

I dont know about VERY LIKELY ... the Bears are the No. 2 team in the NFC right now, that means a lot of teams have to jump them to leave them worse than a Wild Card team ... they have a lot of tie-breakers right now because of conference record.
Re: Wild card possibility?
The Bears beating the Panthers was huge. Also the Bears play most of their tough teams at home.
