    I find it interesting that one of the picks the Vikings got for quarterback Fran Tarkenton was Ron Yary . . . and both are in the Hall of Fame.
    Kudos to those responsible for getting Fran back and drafting Yary!

    wikipedia is not the end all for information, but after a cursory glance, I didn't see any glaring inconsistencies.

    The NFL championship was what the Superbowl used to be called in the NFL. The AFL had a similar championship game called the AFL championship.

    After the NFL & AFL merged, it was called the NFL-AFL championship game, which was later changed to the Superbowl.
