Thread: wide receivers

Do you actually think we even should get a wide receiver it free agency of the draft? I think we should only becuz we need depth at that postition especially when we cut Derrick Alexander, who didn't do anything for us this past year. Although Cambell came on during the end of the year, he is really short to be a wide receiver. Bates is also a good wide receiver too, but I think he is inconsistent. Sometimes he didn't come up big. Walsh is a good player, but his age concerns me alot since he didn't catch that many balls that year.

We could look at Peerless Price in free agency but the way Mccheap is, I doubt we might even get him. Besides we will be more for defensive players. Draft wasn't great either. Charles Rogers might be a good player, but most likely the lions will grab him and again, we need defense. So the offense remains a mystery on what we are going to do. Can't wait till free agency period comes, we sign someone decent and till draft day.
