why in the world was wade returning punts after berian returned one for a td

The belief is that the game was out of reach and there was no need to chance BB getting hurt.
BB shoul dbe returning kicks this game. The earlier we put it away the earlier he gets off the field.

Wasn't wade returning punts last year? If I remember he wasn't completely horrible at it.

Wade is back returning punts because he has sure hands, and while not flashy will secure the ball. They put BB back there for a big play early, and when it happened the coaches opted for a vet who will catch and control the ball. I bet we see Adrian returning kickoffs down the stretch and in the playoffs also. When you need a spark on ST's you put some playmakers out there. After they've gotten a big return and we are winning the field position game you'll see Wade or whomever is going to return kickoffs the remainder of the game, unless we need another big play on ST's.

BB returned kicks at DET as well. I believe he is now our starting punt returner.

No he has sure hands, but we won't put him or Adrian in harms way if we can avoid it.
