    Why Moss Had to Go

Don't get me wrong, as a talent Moss is one of the best ever but he wore out his welcome and blew it just like his whole football career.
    Pissed away Notre Dame
    Pissed away Florida State
Pissed away top 5 draft pick
    Squirted Official with water
    Plays when he wants to
    runs over ticket girl
walks of field and leaves teamates
I cant even think of all his problems. The sad thing is that he does do things in the community but nobody hears about them because of the fore mentioned and his refusal to do interviews and sign autographs. He is a great talent but a very immature and selfish human being and I think the organization had just run out of patience with him and a change had tobe made. The team was never going anywhere with him, he is to much of a poison and a distraction. I bet his teamates are sick of answering questions about Randy rather than football. I will miss his playmaking but the trade will make the Vikings a better team. They may not lead the league in total offense without him but I wouold bet the rest of the team will become a close tight knit group without him.
We had a saying in the Marine Corps " Lead, Follow, or get the f_ck out of the way" and Moss could do none of them and that led to his demise. He could not lead because of all his issues, he is too arrogant to follow and not a team player and he could not stand it if someone else was getting all of the attention so he could not get out of the way either.

Good Post...and I think you are right. Moss had his chances, and he kept blowing them...over and over again. On top of everything else, he never really sounded like he cared that he hurt people or let people down.

It was getting very hard to defend a guy like Moss on our team...but like I have always said about the guy...He is THE BIGGEST PLAYMAKER on the field when he wants to be. He can change the game faster than most players can. However, his antics were getting harder and harder to deal with

He cared somewhat.. but when you have an owner who doesn't spend enough to put a winning product on the field.. the negativity sets in with some people to a great extent.. it's understandable.. even if you don't agree with how a certain player deals with it.

I made a post about Red on another forum, and not that I am going to defend him, many people thought this years Vikes were on their way to the Super Bowl, going as far as saying the Philly game will be the SB....

When your team is supposed to be that good...why should you spend more money and add players?
