Re: Why isn't Marcus Robinson more involved in the offense???

IMO, I think MRobinson relies more on his hands, his size, and his body for positioning to come down with passes. He doesn't get the separation that the rest of our receivers do, so I think BJohnson's just not comfortable throwing to him in that situation. He throws to whoever gets the most separation to avoid potential INT's.

I find that kinda hard to believe. Its not like there 40 or 50 yards bombs, but maybe that is the case, either way i've seen marcus have some nice games so i know he has the ability.
I meant that Brad Johnson can't throw the ball 10 feet above the ground.

I think my High School QB had more arm strength than Brad.

Re: Why isn't Marcus Robinson more involved in the offense??

I think the biggest problem is that he cant get the separation needed with the routes in the middle of the field he just isnt quick enough. we have always primarily used him in the red zone. But to be honest our offense hasnt been in the red zone much at all the past few weeks. Once we get in there on a more consistant basis he will get more balls thrown his way

Honestly out of all the WRs we have I care the least about Marus if all we can use him at is in the redzone we could just pay less money to Chris Jones on our practice squad who is about the same height wise.

yes, but only 3 catches. he is more valueable at the goaline because he is so big. he really isnt that fast and doesnt ahve that many moves so redzone fade routes to him is all i want from him.

I also think MR should be more involved, he seems to make plays when he gets a chance. He is also a huge red zone target with being so tall and a good jumper. I know i would throw him a jump ball in the end zone over almost any d-back in the NFL. I know Taylor and KR have been doing well but MR should be getting a deep jump ball thrown his way every game.

I think brad took advantage of that sunday.

This offense is built to get the ball to whoever is open. Brad does not look to one WR more then another. Cuz the truth is we dont have a playmaker WR that allows him to only look one way.I think our offense is lookin good like this.

this is exactly what I was saying. The only time he really seems to get looks is in the red zone. Obviously, it worked out well this week! I would imagine MR knows his role and has accepted that(dont hear him complaining), I would be perfectly content if I was the #1 option in the red zone. all I have to say is keep it up M Rob!
