I have been to the last two Vikings games and it seems as if they didn't start blitzing till the game was out of hand. We have the best DE in the game we should be blitzing alot but were not. It is very confusing to me. This week we are gonna need to blitz and bring pressure on the QB if we have any chance against the Saints. Im sorry but i have a feeling that Griffith is gonna
get burned again i really hope not.
You guys gonna do anything special for the game Monday night?
The problem with us blitzing is that our corners are not particularly good in Man coverage, plus our blitz's rarely seem to get there.
If we blitz Bree's to much I think that he would tear us apart. Our DL needs to do a better job.
The defense has in my mind been lights out the first couple of games. Dont think we need to change anything there..
You could say that Griffin should be changed, but right now there is no one better.

Our corners except Winny aren't very good in man coverage (Griff in the Tennesse game)
And we sent all of our LBs a few times and Kerry still had all day

We play to our strengths.
We do not have the pass coverage ability to blitz often.
Blitzing can help bad man to man cover corners and it can help them. It just depends on wether the blitz works or not. If you blitz and you get in there fast the corners do not have to cover long even if they do still get the pass off but if you blitz and dont get in th there fast (Like the vikings blitzes so far this season) then bad man to man cover corners will get torched..
I like blitzing but so far our blitzes have been terrible
We play zone defense which relies very heavily on linebackers in coverage.
That should about sum it up.
I think we blitz plenty, we did against Tenessee. I don't think that its such a good idea Vs Bress though that dude gets rid of ball so quick we're better off sending 4 guys and maybe a LB every once in a while. It sucks EJ is out, he's a force on the blitz.
