    Why don't we?

Why doesn't BC use AP like philly uses Westbrooke? line him up in the slot, as a wide out, even at QB. j/k with CT in the back field and AP spread out that would open up the middle of the field. it works for philly

im not bashing him. i just think it would be a good idea to get yards from CT and get the ball to AP with some room to run

No Chilly bashing, just a fair question. It's a personnel question in regards to his skill set and I think it's a pretty good one. It's because of Peterson's inability to catch the ball, everyone knows he's one of the weakest links on the team...

Honestly, it's because Childress is an idiot.

I would say we don't do that because that would require a lot more work than the vanilla offense we like to run now.
I also don't know how much we like Adrian's hands ... he does not seem to be very sure-handed at times. I would like to see more screens out to the left and right. All we ever do is run that jackass middle screen and it never amounts to shit.

Because I think teams fear him more out of the backfield whether he is running the ball or coming out on a screen.

But then our Qb won't be as pressured because defender won't be flying to the line. Moving him out into the slot will force the defense to check off. We will still get blitzed but dfenders will be more focused on a target that is now further away from the QB, giving Gus room to throw.

Because westbrook is a better pass catcher than AP is.
    We're bringing purple back.

    Re: Why don't we?

its because chilly is a puss and is afraid that AD is gunna get hurt like Westbrook.
He does have a point but I think injuries are always gonna be a part of the game and if you play in fear of injuries then your players are not going to perform as well as they could potentially.
So while Chilly may be trying to save AD, he really is just hurting our playoff chances and the minute possibility of scoring in the redzone.

    Re: Why don't we?

just because AP doesnt have good hands they still have to respect the fact that he is out of the backfield. we can still run the ball with CT. Philly does it and their backup RB is not as good as CT.
