Who do you think will get more yardage? our run d might just hold LT enough that if peterson has a good game.....

Honestly, I doubt LT will have a very good game.
The run game will be overshadowed by the passing game.

Peterson, on the other hand, is the only offense the Vikings have, and will be seeing a helluva lot of action on Sunday...

I think it will EASILY be AD every day. Why would the chargers eve attempt to run at pat and kevin when LT is so talented at getting the ball in the flats, swings, or even screens. The majority of his yards will be receiving easily. Lets just hope that bold prediction doesn't blow up in my face lol. ;D

I for one will not jump on you. I am not that concerned about our Run Defense. It will be strong....especially in the first part of the game. It's the Chargers Passing attack that has me concerned along with starting T.Jack in this one. I'm sorry but I just don't think he's gonna play well Sunday because of the finger issues.

To answer your question I think we HAVE to get more run yardage than the Charges to have any chance to win this game because we are NOT going to win it by the Passing game. Time of possession and scoring points after long drives, basically keeping the Chargers offense off the field and wearing down there run defense will give us the best chance to win this game.

IMHO.

I think AP will have more rushing yards, but LT will have more receiving yards and a touchdown throw.

If it said rushing yards only, I would have taken AD.

Unless we are going to add a new wrinkle and start throwing to AD, LT will get more total yards.

Rushing yards 110 for AD and 82 for LT.

These two guys must be pumped about the match up of RBs.
As competitors, they are naturally going to want to out do each other no matter what they say to the media about the dual.

SD has committed to giving LT the ball in recent weeks, and they have been rewarded.

Do we even know if AD will get the ball 15 times?

Add to that the fact that our defense has to defend a pretty decent passing game with Gates, Chambers, and Brees, while they don't have to defend our pathetic passing attack.

This reminds me of the scene in the Waterboy when the coach told Bobby he'd have to do it himself.
