Thread: Who will win the Vikings/Falcons game this Sunday?

So far, 100%.

The Vikes will kick off their season with a W. But Harrington does know the Vikings and almost beat us a few times in Detroit. Look for Alge Crumpler to have a big day for the birds and Chester Taylor for the Vikings. I would like to theink the final score will be 27-20 vikings.

I think people are putting too much stock in Harrington's play.
Harrington was the QB last year when the Dolphins beat us.
He didn't play very well and they still came out with the W.

They had arguably the best defense in the league. We had one of the weakest offenses.

Since his entry into the league in 2002 he has had only one year where he had more TDs than interceptions with an average QB rating of 68.
If he strikes fear into the opponents, they better not have a butterfly garden...it might be too scary.

My point is just because Joey Harrington is playing doesn't mean squat.
Certainly we are capable of rattling him up with pressure and picks, but the same could probably be said for our young beloved TJack.

I still say Vikes win, I'm just not overly confident.
I think it will be a close, hard fought game.

I'm not saying he is a great QB...hell, if he was the Vikings new starting QB, it would take every once of strength in my body not to jump ship now.

But it doesn't take a great QB to win football games if you have a strong running game.
A good example of this would be a team known as the Minnesota Vikings...well, we're yet to win games, but you know what I mean.

I agree with that. Joey Harrington is a moot point to me, he doesn't matter.

What does frighten me is their DE's against T-Jack and our WCO. They have a pretty good rushing defense themselves.

I still say Vikings take it too. I hope AD breaks a big one, or two.

Joey was 26/42 with an INT and a TD, BJ was 26/44 with an INT.
Joey rushed 2x for a total of 2 yds.
Joey fumbled 2x and lost one.
Joey has earned his disrespect since 2002.

I agree the game goes deeper than one player, but having Joey Harrington as the starter bodes well for the Vikings in week 1.

As long as TJack continues to take relatively good care of the ball (0 INTs in preseason), we should be just fine...VIKES WIN!!!
