Who will be a good candidate as the Vikings next defensive coordinator?

Well now that Tomlin is the Steelers new head coach, who is available or who would you like to see as the Vikings new defensive coordinator?

Don't throw out names like Rivera, because any one under contract as a defensive coordinator right now would need to be promoted to take a position here.

I don't have a clue. I guess we'll just have to trust Childress on this one. He was good enough to pick Tomlin and he worked out pretty well, so let's hope he can look into his crystal ball again and figure it out.

Steal Rivera and give him DCoordinator and Asst Head Coach...assuming that's a promo.

How about the guy that was the DC in green bay a few years back but McCarthy didn't want to retain him... where is he now?

That's what I was thinking. I would love to have him here and i'm sure he'd sign on as a DC..

Yes that would be considered a promotion, but I doubt that the Bears would give him permission. But I would rather see a former head coach that can take some of the pressure off of Childress. NOt as a D-coordinator but I would think that Russ Grim will not be staying as a coach in Pitt so Bring him in in some capacity if nothing else have him work with the OL

I would love to see him and he as of now would be my first choice, but I have a feeling that they will

1. Hire from within, have no clue who.
2. Bring in a current Eagels coach
