Didn't Grant release Alan Page in the middle of 78 season, one of the reasons was he was too old at 33 or 34?

I'm pretty sure he means the players are literally too young to have played in the 70s... not in comparison to the age of the players at that time. lol

How did I forget about Richardson? Oh man, he seems like the biggest team guy/good guy I've seen.

Also Greenway. He seems like a hard working, dedicated player. Probably even Tarvaris.

I think B-chill and Bud see eye to eye based on what I have seen over the past year or so.

I'm not sure how many of them would for sure. I recall an interview they did with Bud a few years back.

Bud said he would never coach football in todays leaugue. He said too many players play for the money & not solely for the love of the game.

Those players who would remain Vikings & play for him because they love the game & love to win with a hefty paycheck taking a back seat would be the types of players Bud would look for.

With that being said, I would say Birk & Jimmy K.
