The folks at KFAN’s Rube Chat present an interesting topic: Who’s your least favorite Viking of all-time? As sports fans, we spend quite a bit of time talking about our favorite players  but who are the guys that you absolutely cannot stand?...
LOL! What an idiot! These parties were going on during the bye weeks long before Smoot came on board. His credit card was used to pay for the boats because he was a new player to the team (tradition), but he did not organize it.Quote:

Furthermore, it was the fans & the media who overrated Smoot, not Smoot himself.
He was over payed as a player IMO, but who offered him the contract & who payed him?
Smoot was a prime example of taking a player who did not fit our system & trying to make him fit it.
Hovan, same thing. Took a player who was playing good ball, forced him to move into a position he was not used to playing at & then blamed him for lack of production (mainly sacks), yet anyone with football knowledge knows a nose tackles primary job isn't to sack the QB. Del will tell you the same thing. Cottrell or Tice screwed the pooch on that move.
The defensive coaching staff in 2005 sucked from Cottrell on down. There's a reason not a single one of them is with the team anymore.
There were far worse players than those two.
One of my least favorite would have to be Les Steckel & Spergon Wynn.
Underwood never played for the Vikings. I don't even consider him a Viking, just a scratch.

I didn´t know of him,it is a lame he didn´t stay he could have made an historic duo with Troy
After my childhood hero Joe Kapp was traded to Boston, we had a carousel of bad QB play. My least favorite Vikings were Bob Lee, and Gary Cuozzo. They just couldn't lead the team the way Kapp did. Spergon should get lumped in that catagory, but he probably had better athletic ability.
I typically like all the players that wear the uniform (no matter what color it is you GQ guys) but for some reason, if they used to wear the Puke Green and Yellow of the hated Packers, I for some reason can't throw those cats into that catagory........
Call it stereotyping if you want, but at some point they did something while in PUKER land to cause my beloved Vikes to lose and I just can't let that go......

Yup, even has the kicker higher than Ferg.......

Ferguson -
Even though he has kindof grown on me (I watched the Vikes Bores re-air last night) he still is a PUKER in my book and needs to be beat out my Jaymar Johnson and sent packing......

... However, don't get me wrong, I far from hate Sharper, Ferguson or any of those guys that used to play for the Packs. Actually, I fell more sorry for them
