More and more this feels like an internal war between the coach and the GM. The only thing they are succeeding at is insuring NEITHER will be around next year. If the Vikings want to sell tickets next year, Ponder will be somewhere else as a back up; so giving him the start this week makes even LESS sense, unless Frazier has guarantees that he will not be fired at the end of this season.
But...doesn't it seem like we are missing a big piece to this puzzle? Like, something going on behind the scenes that would make all these weird decisions make more sense?
Men are moved by two levers only: fear and self interest.
