I agree. Our Defense is most def a top 10 ranking. Our Offense, 24th, we got some work to do in that department. And I agree, it is early things could turn around; it better. Great post.

ESPN Has us ranked 16th. And the Bears 4th.

How can a 4 barely beat a 16 and maintain that spot? It's ridiculous, we're the only decent team they've (barely) beaten.

I think our defense is actually ranked 12th right now. That cushion makes me think we are about a #13-17 defense.

In Duluth. If I am going to drive to see them I would rather have some scenery to look at than litter and congestion. Plus the snow they get would make for a great homefield advantage in December in an open air stadium.

If not Duluth put them back in the southern suburbs like Shakopee.

If you're getting that from NFL.com's stats, it is incorrect, they list it by total defense, and several teams with a bye last week are ahead of us because of it.

i would rank our defense right now about 7th or 8th and the offense is about near 20th as we still need to score touchdowns when we get in the red zone but alot of people are coming down on johnson for that but they have to remember something, he doesnt make the play calling decision..

Yeah maybe a pro sports team in Duluth could spark an economic revival and the city could get out of possible bankruptcy.
But then again the team would more likely find a way to lose money just like everythign else around here does.
It sure is perdy here this time of year.
Oh and there is trash all over duluth.

Oh yeah....I would rank the vikes 11th...def 7th and off 15th.
I dont think our off is as bad as people think it is.
Got the skill just gotta work out the kinks.
This is shown by our ability to drive downt he field willingly often but sputter in the red zone.
I honestly am starting to think part of the problem is play calling.
Great thing about the vikes is because of the way we play we can beat any team. 11 and rising.
Its a joke ESPN has the Bears ranked 4th at all.
They are definatly NOT that good of a team and thats a fact.
Especially since a supposed 16th ranked team had them outplayed and they have only beat crap teams.
I was wrong about detroit being decent.
I like to beleive that the vikes will be around 5 by most rankings towards the end of the year.

being from duluth i can honestly say..

nothing ever grow's in duluth.. except the salt % of the road mud..

i'd say put the D in the top 10
put the O in the bottom teens.

we've done ok yard wise against stingy D's.
