    You dont get a combination.
Nate is overpaid as a Seahawk, and though he would be a solid receiver here, his only good season was alongside Moss...

He's better than Wade though, who is also overpaid.

Troy Williamson should stay right here. He's still very young and very fast. His catching ability is getting better.

Meanwhile, he's making a minimal salary.

We get NOTHING from cutting or trading him. Keep him around and keep sharpening his game.

I knew he was gonna be a bust when we drafted him so early out of South Carolina. Cut him in the off-season.

    ALL DAY!!!

    We get cap space.
Minimal salary PLUS bonuses probably put his total salary probably make him our highest paid WR.

You don't honestly think a #7 overall pick makes the NFL minimum do you?

Like I said before, if he wasn't the #7 overall pick 3 years ago he wouldn't even have made it past training camp.
Frig, even Billy McMuffin would have probably contributed more.

Nate isn't really having a stellar career in SEA.
He does well with the return game.

With that said, I would rather have him back.
I think that Chilly was counting on him being here but was a victim of the Hutch Wars.

    TW is too inconsistent.
He has one good game and one bad game and then tons of games that are like who do we have for WRs again.
Point is that the lack of a passing game makes the WRs invisible at times.

I don't think that it is easy as cut him or don't cut him.
The coaches will have to evaluate if he has progressed and how he stands in comparison to Rice, Fergy, Wade, and Allison (cheaper).

IMHO, I don't think that he will be here.

I'm not saying he is hof matierial or anyhting. i just think that he is having a reasonably successful nfl career. esp. considering who he is playing wiht at WR. they are all a just a wee bit better than what we have right now.

Re: Where will Williamson play next season?

I really don't see Twill leaving.

    1. he is tracking the ball better.

    2. He is catching the pass's tossed to him

    3. He will work out his timing with Tjack by the end of the year

    4. He + Rice will take over the side routes.. with Wade doing inside maybe switch fergi around for 1 of the 3.

    5. His speed will open up those trick plays.

    6. once we get AP/CT healthy and back as atandem.. the play action will be used 1/6 plays. even if twill isn't in sync.. he'll be watched.. and it will open up others.

    7. Rice needs 1 more year to fully Develop!!~!!!!!

Re: Where will Williamson play next season?

Burleson is a dime a dozen WR and so is Williamson.
He doesn't even stand out on a team with a bunch of hacks playing the position.
I will be surprised if he remains on the team.
His street value can't be much more than an old pair of air jordans.
No loss if he leaves, totally replaceable.

Re: Where will Williamson play next season?

i agree that we could probably get someone to replace him that could maybe be productive on this team, but i also think that if we can resign him after this year for a so-so contract, nothing huge, we should do it.

He's got talent, and he's shown flairs of it this season, the problem is more so not having QB's that could get him the ball.
I think he's got a future in this league, and hopefully its here if the price is right
