Thread: Where do you all get Vikings photos

Well the Vikings room is coming along nicely, I will get some pictures of how it is coming together soon.
I have about 20 framed 8x10 photos of players ready to go up.
I have one 11x17 BW from the Super Bowl against the Cheifs.

I am still thinking about trying to get
one bigger centerpiece print 16x20 or larger to put up on the main wall where the TV is.
However I dont want to break the bank, just wondering what the gang in here knows.
Where would you all go (or have you gone) to find Vikings prints at reasonable prices?

Just wondering what you all think.

I am getting excited about how this is coming together, and I cant wait to see the games in HD on my new TV.
By the way does anyone know if you have the Superfan option on NFL Ticket will the preseason games be in HD also?

I would suggest just finding a big poster you like and framing it.

It will look just as good as some large-format photo, but be 10% of the cost.

You do not get pre-season games with SUNDAY TICKET.
Most of the pre-season stuff is available from the NFL NETWORK channel.
You can also pick up most of them on webcast if you look for them.
Not sure how legal that is...but they are available.

Not much out there for 16 x 20 or larger right now, but I've seen better ones from time to time, such as team prints & the Purple People Eaters

I am actually going to experiment with creating my own posters this year from shots I take at the games.
I have a 12 megapixel camera, which can produce 9.7 by 14.5 inch prints without any loss of clarity (on a 300 dpi printer).
I figure I can make that into a 16 X 20 or 20 X 24 poster before the loss of clarity or pixelation becomes noticeable, especially when viewing from a coupe of feet away.

I will bring the digital print to a professional print shop.
Knights Printing here in Fargo does a lot of work with my company, so I think I can get them to do it somewhat on the cheap.

I may also try one of the online places, for a comparison. Winkflash has a pretty good reputation, so I may try them.
