Re: When are Vikings Playoff Tickets going on sale?

i can't get too excited yet!!.. we have a few tough games left and c'mon guys.. this is the VIKINGs... better yet, this is Chilly's Vikings... remember what happened last year.... ?

We should go.. but I'm not gonna hold my breath and get pumped just yet... and even if we do make it... it will most likely be either us playing Atlanta again (we all know what happened the last time we played them at home in the playoffs... sooo sad!!) or Dallas... I'm happy to get there.. but don't exactly want to go home real early either... We gotta play better.. but we're close and getting there and playing alot better.. !!!

The Vikings had no chance to host a playoff game last year.

This year, with 4 games left, they really really do.
So the tickets have to be sold by the team.
It's not like they can turn around 65,000 tickets in a week.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Thing is - when the invoice comes out, I have to buy it.
Or I lose my seat and don't guy if they make it.
    That's how it works.

Ah... I see. Well, I can't fault you for that. Pick up an extra one for me.

    Yup.
And if for some reason the Vikes don't host two playoff games, the money we spend is credited towards our season ticket accounts.
No risk at all for us.

    LOL.
Last year and this year are so incredibly different, it is silly to compare the two.
Don't care if you still want to be all gloom and doom - but I am PUMPED and more than happy to spend my $$$ on playoff tickets!
We are on the right track!

So, what's $490 compared to the usual face value for those seats, a 400 or 500% mark up?

    LOL.
No, that is probably the next time we win a play off game... but I have complete faith that we will host one this year.
    i dont see that happening
I hope it happens, but also don't see it happening.
If the Vikings win the division does that insure they will have a home playoff game, either in the wild card round or the divisional round?
They will get a home game in the wild card round.
There is no way they are going to have one of the top 2 records in the NFC.
But yes, whoever wins the division will get a home game.
yes, that is correct, but there is potential to have a home game in the NFC Championship game, since if we win the division, we get a home game against a wild card team.
If we win, we go on to play against whoever has a first round bye.
If we win, and the team with home field advantage loses, we would be the top seed left in the playoffs, therefore get to host a game.

Re: When are Vikings Playoff Tickets going on sale?

Just got my invoice in the mail!

They invoiced me for the best possible scenario. The Divisional and NFC Championship. Total of $145 per seat. They are charging $50 for the wild card, $60 for the divisional, and $85 for the championship game for my seats. Section 215, row 8.

Deadline for payment is December 19th at 5pm.

There is a new "pay as we play" option.

    Just got mine too.
I like the fact that they have tiered the prices.
My tickets are $80, $125, and $185; so $305 a seat on the invoice.

This, as well as the pay as we play option are good ways to help offset personal economic issues.
Shows me that the Vikings put some thought into this.
