Thread: What's With "Viktor?"

Does anyone beside me think "Viktor" the new Viking Mascot is silly?
I love Ragnor drive the bike but I think his dancing is ugly.
Are the Vikes trying to appeal to the kids with Viktor? Is it going to help us build a new stadium? Is it going to make the Vikings better?
What's your thoughts -- especially those that were at the game?

I think "Viktor" is pretty weak.

I think he looks like Hulk Hogan

The look on his face is the look of a crazy man! Maybe that's what they were shooting for. The cable enterance was cool. I would like to see a little more speed though.
Really not sure how Viktor ties in to the Viking tradition in any way though.
Crazy George was probably better. But not by much.

I was clowning on The Steelers for their new mascot "Steely McBeam" but I guess I better shut up now since we have our own cartoony mascot.
I don't think it's necessary.

I would rather just have one stoic or slightly insane person dress as a Viking.

Let's start a petition to make Spiking and 100% cheese free the official team mascots. Viktor is pretty lame. I guess it might attract little kids to the games if anything.. I have no problem with Ragnar at all though.

I think they're trying to make up for the fan support lost after the KAO [aka the SFO(Snooze-Fest Offense)] was installed.

Did Viktor replace the purple barney dinosaur?

Ragnar should still be back. Who would have the guts to tell him he couldn't ride his Harley into the Dome???
