whats going on with your defense?

hey guys, im just wondering what your take is on your defense. you guys have some great players out there but still your ranked pretty low and seem to give up alot of points.

The only game ive seen u play was against us packers, but you did well in the second half. Im not bashing you guys at all, as im in no position to, im just baffled at how your defense is performing way under their expectations.

well gotta get back to this snoozefest between the lions and bears...its sad really who is representing our division.

- on a sidenote, id rather have a losing record and have a downfield threat than have a winning one with no offensive threat whatsoever(cough lions, cough bears)

then again, a winning record would be kind of nice.

Good question.

I just think that the system kinda stinks. We play so soft on the WR's and do not get pressure on the QB.

And some of the players are not as good as we thought they would be.

The O goes 3 and out,3 and out,1 play and a fumble,2 plays then an interception.The on the field the whole game.Again the O put up 0 points in the first half.0 points in the first half last week,3 points in the entire game the week before and so on and so on,etc.At least in the past 7 years,the Vikes O was putting up 30 + points a game.As bad as the D was,it only had to make a few stops a game and didn't have to spend the whole game on the field.

NO Our Defense is CRAP. The Bears, now thats a defense.

WE have the wrong scheme, we have no pressure, we need more speed on the field, 11 players running to the ball.

i totally agree with that, but its so frustrating because it seems that we dont do the same stuff that works each week, we NEVER blitz and it pisses me off because today delhome had all day to pass the ball, and on offense we have no time at all because they blitz all the time, it can't be that hard for our coaches to figure this out

Well they brought in a 3-4 guy and gave him a 4-3 playbook and personnel. Then in the middle of a season changed to a 3-4 out of the blue.

WE need to go back to a 4-3, the 3-4 sucks. Why isnt Erasmus there in the game, he was a beast today. Napoleon played good also. Our pass defense is our achilles heel. Sharper, Smoot, Anotine and Corey, I don't know why they are getting payed to play for this team. Does this mean I can join too?
