Bringing someone in only delays the inevitable year or two that he will have to learn under center.
The Bills have taken their lumps with JP for the last couple years.
we could have had Bledsoe around for an additional year, but we would have only delayed the kid's development.
If TJ is the guy, the Vikes are making the right decision.
    100% agree.
No matter what the feeling or thought is on TJack the bottom line is he's the man right now.
Support hm and see how he does.
If he doesn't do well then we start over again.
At least we will know instead of another year of guessing.
wow ejmat, that sounds alot like what i've been saying for 7 pages on the other post.
i guess it just depends on whos saying it when it comes to you.

if we wanted a guy who's gonna make boneheaded decisions and hinder us from winning why wouldn't we just let the young guy do it as opposed to jake plummer.
if we wanted to go the route of having tjack learn another year while a vet played they coulda and woulda addressed it already.
if they do it now then chances are we have serious issues and have become severely desperate.
    Wow BBR.
Maybe you can realize that I never once disagreed with Tarvaris starting.
What I had pointed out is that Caine makes you silly because of your lack of ability to respond intelligently.
It's not about who is saying.
    It's about how it's said.
    Get the two correct.
I agree with some of your points.
You just don't know how to make them valid.

that boat has passed... it's time to line up on the TJack train.. we've got Chester and AP shoveling coal in! Hutch and Berk are the tankers. and KDubya and PDubya are the dual cabooses to the vikings pain train!
I just hope the coaching staff has learned to lay track big time in the offseason or the train may not get out of the station.

    I'll pass on Plummer.
We need to find out this year if TJ can be the guy of the future.
Bollinger is no better than a career backup.
If TJ implodes this season and the staff loses faith in him, the Vikes will probably be in a position to draft Brian Brohm or Colt Brennan in next year's draft.
With our inexperience at WR, this shouldn't be viewed as a "playoffs" year anyway, so bringing in Plummer to back up is pointless.

I agree...if TJ can't cut it, we will get a high enough draft choice that we will be able to get Brohm.

Good post Bills fan.  Actually all your posts are.  Belated Welcome.

I basically agree although I think if we could talk his mustache into coming out of retirement it would be less of a cap hit and if TJ goes down in flames at least he will look funny doing it.

    that is a good post.
and it's more of what i've said.
but as usual if it comes from me it holds no validity.
    amazing how that works.
i used examples like manning, and aikman, but why would that be valid?
either way i totally agree with you and to me thats what the vikes thought process is, otherwise they would have gotten a vet, or drafted another qb.
they believe jackson is the future and they seem to wanna start that future now.
i'm sure they are gonna do their best to be patient with him and we do too.
unless he is just totally awful.

Plummer? He's pretty adamant on retiring isn't he? Besides, its getting late for bringing a new qb in, now that OTA's and such are over and training camp's begun.
    WE CAN BUILD ON THIS!!!

    In AP I trust

He might be adamant but he hasn't filed his paperwork with the league to retire properly
