Sign him then, now, if only the ballboy can confirm his availability and desire to play for the Vikings.
I spoke to my cousin Jenny's friend Lisa between 2nd and 3rd periods and SHE told me that Jocelyn's sister's boyfriend's mom was standing next to Jake on Sunday at the Piggly Wiggly and SHE overheard him talking to his agent on the cellphone about a trip to Minneapolis....

Damn, it must be true then.
Worse case scenario is he comes to town, drops some coin, and a few waitresses are happy due to his propensity for excessive tipping.

Why is it that everyone seems to think that we need a new QB?
TJ is our QB this year period.
    Bolinger is our backup.
We are trying to build a team for the future.
You don't do that with QB's that only have a year or two of wheels left on them.
    TJ has all the skills.
Give him a chance to show them off.
He has a great arm, he can run, he has a great work ethic, he is young.

    Can't you read?
Are any of our QBs big tippers?
    Are they cool?
Do they look like a 70s porn star?
Do they have their own strippers?
Those are just a few of the reasons that Jake needs to be signed.
We're sick of the unknowns, with Jake we have some knowns.

Have an old, below average quarterback play on our team for a year or two and then be in the same position we are now with a young, inexperienced quarterback. Hell no. I want to get this rebuilding stage over with and get Tavaris experienced now.
