    Re: What will the vikings 2008 record be?

    Not a lot of positivity... The Vikes need only for Tar Jack to play like he does when Childress lets him call the plays (last few minutes of Redskins game, last few minutes of Broncos game). 8-8 is pretty good considering we had Kelly Holcomb, Brooks Bollinger and Tarvaris starting at QB, no standout receivers, no pass rush, and Stubborn Mc. Mustache as a playcaller.

    If we're anything less than 11-5, Childress is officially retarded (consider 2007's Detroit, KC, home GB and PHI winnable and close)

    9-7 with Tarvaris.

    ... 11-5 with a different QB, and better in the playoffs.

    Had it not been for a few drops by TWill, TJ would have made a great comeback in that game.
    There is no reason to think he won't keep getting better.
    Even if he stays at his level he was at in week 17, he should be adaquate.
    He was aweful in the bears games, Aweful in the skins game, and aweful in the first half of Denver game.
    When Denver's defense relaxed because they were up 19 - 3, he looked good and we came back. I don't get the "he looked good" statments...This was DENVER we lost too. A team we should have murdered.
    Not putting all the blame on him but just most of it.

    Re: What will the vikings 2008 record be?

    As it stands today, I see yet another 8-8 mediocre season.

    1. No pass rush.

    2. No go to WR.

    3. Young QB

    4. Defense constant giving up the short passes.

    5. No answer for 8 in the box (Still after how many games? See #2)

    6. McKinnie?

    7. Right side of the line still needs improvent.

    8. Still no depth on the O-Line that's worth a shit. Especially at Center & LG. http://www.vikings.com/TeamDepthChart.aspx

    9. DLE? http://www.vikings.com/TeamDepthChart.aspx

    Udeze done

    Darrion Scott = UFA

    Spencer Johnson - UFA

    That leaves only Jamie Mitchell

    10. No backup for Griffin. http://www.vikings.com/TeamDepthChart.aspx

    11. Back ups for Sharper at safety?

    Doss = UFA

    Tank = UFA

    I said 8 and 8 for last season and they shoulda been 9 and 7. I'm saying 10 and 6 for this season. So maybe they will have a chance at 11 and 5.
