What will the vikings 2008 record be?
I know this is a little early, but I want to know what some people think our record will be next year.
This is a pre FA/Draft one, so state opinions and who will be the player that helps us get there
our opponnents are as follows
Home
Indianapolis (13-3)*, Green Bay (13-3)*, New York Giants (10-6)**, Houston (8-8), Carolina (7-9), Detroit (7-9), Chicago (7-9), Atlanta (4-12)
Away
Green Bay (13-3)*, Jacksonville (11-5)*, Tennessee (10-6)*, Tampa Bay (9-7)*,
Arizona (8-8), Detroit (7-9), Chicago, (7-9), New Orleans (7-9)
6 of those games are against playoff teams,
for a combined opponnent record of 114-86
Here's how I see it going
Vs. Indy
L (35-28) 28-28 going into the 4th.
vikings let up an easy TD
vs. GB W(27-17)
Vikings win their home matchup and knock Favre out cold, ending his starting streak
vs. NYG L(7-14)
Tell me the last time the Vikings beat the Giants in the dome.
goes past that 2000 NFC championship game i believe.
vs. HOU L(21-13)
Houston improves their game greatly, but the Vikes lose one they should have won
vs. CAR W(31-13) Carolina continues their Downward spiral
vs. DET W(41-10)
Annihilation.
AD runs for over 200 on the day with 4 total td's
vs. CHI W(37-5)
AD makes Urlacher look silly.
Cook gets called for holding in the endzone for a safety.
vs. ATL W(21-20)
Falcons make it close leading 20-14 with 1:57 left, but TJ takes matters into his own hands and brings the vikes to victory
Home record 5:3
@GB W(20-7)
Favre comes out on crutches just so he can keep his streak alive, then hands the game to Rogers who fails miserably
@JAX L(21-22) Jones Drew runs back a squib kick as time expires, and Del Rio opts to go for the win instead of kicking the PAT
@TEN W(28-17) Vince Young has one good run but nothing aside from that.
@TB W(24-21) Minn's newly aquired end from the draft picks up a fumble and runs it back the wrong way, But just before realizing his mistake, turns around in the endzone and runs back 35 yards before lateralling the ball to Pat Williams who rumbles into the endzone
@ AZ L(35-28)this is the year Matt Leinart shows why he was in talks of being #1 overall.
He lights it up with 5 tds.
@ DET W(38-17) AD once again tops 200 yards on the ground against DET.
Millin sells franchise for an AD rookie card.
@ CHI W(10-3)
Sloppy weather and sloppy Play.
a 43 yd run by Chester Taylor gives the Vikings the only TD and breaks the 3-3 tie
@ NO W(21-20)
Drew Brees throws for 230 yds in the first half, but gets injured on the 1st play of the 2nd half.
Reggie Bush Breaks a long one from their own 1 only to be caught and fumble at the vikings 5
away record: 6-2
season record 11-5
AD 1989 yards, 21 tds
TJ 2869 yds, 18 tds, 7 ints
Greenway has breakout year with 110 tackles, 6 forced fumbles, 4 picks.
Probowlers
AD, TRich, Berrian, Birk, Hutch, K+P WILL, EJ, Winfield gets his first

Re: What will the vikings 2008 record be?
as we stand now i'd like to think we could do a 10-6 but if we can make some good picks in the offseason then i'd like to hope for a 12-4.
the big name's will be AP,Tjack with a big serprise from a rookie WR picked up in the draft. ok now i've done dreaming let's hope some of this comes true.
