What Vikings players have you met?

So, what Vikings players have you met? Some of you probably have extensive lists. I know Hamper Hider has played golf with a few.

I've met the following:

Matt Blair
Bob Lurtzema
Fran Tarkenton
Alan Page
Wally Hilgenberg
Sammy White
Ed White
Stu Voigt
Carl Eller
Tommy Kramer
Fred Smoot
Randy Moss

I think that pretty much exhausts my list. The only people on the list that I have actually talked to for more then a minute are Fred Smoot, Wally Hilgenberg, and Bob Lurtsema. I guess it's obvious that I haven't lived in MN for a few decades after looking at that list.

Bob Lurtzema would have players come into his resturant all the time and sign.. So I would go meet them...

Gary Anderson (my pops thought he was being mean mugged by him hahahaha)

I think there's a couple more and I have thier autographs but im too lazy to go look..

And I lived like 2 blocks from David Dixon.. So I chilled at his house once and raked some of his leaves haha

Yeah, I saw that misspelling and corrected it for some strange reason. I forgot about the barnstorming tours, do they still do that?

No clue - would be cool - but I doubt it, since today's players are so much less approachable. Plus - they don't need the $$$ like they did back then. They came to my hometown (Marshalltown, IA) and played a game against local HS alumni and all that. As I recall (25+ years later) it was really neat.

I need to add Joe Senser to my list, since I sat next to him at the bar in his restaurant in Bloomington during Day 1 of the NCAA tournament.
