what should the vikings do with chad greenway?

He played tha best out of our LBs but that wasn't hard to do and they need to redo his contract his ass his overpaid or trade his ass to tha bengals for Vontaze Burfict his contract almost up to and they probably won't resign his anyway

I forgot to add, at the same level or higher.

    I like Greenway.

Teach him to wrap up a little better and find better linebackers to play with him. We need a stud at MLB that can pop runners like Lacy, and Greenway will do better. He had a down season last year, but should do better if the linebackers around him are better.

I'd like to see the Vikes keep Greenway at a reduced cap number. My bet, is that he'd take it. He's a South Dakota boy and loves being close to home (I'm a South Dakota boy far from home).

Our new head coach was able to get a talented, if not angry, young man to focus on football and voila…he was a beast last year. Who's that? Vontaze Burfict. Burfict's Combine results… NFL Events: Combine Player Profiles - Vontaze Burfict

Mauti's Combine results… he couldn't run as he was recovering from ACL #3. He only lifted… Michael Mauti Draft Profile
Found his 40 time… Michael Mauti Draft Profile

Audie Cole Combine stats… Audie Cole*|*North Carolina State,*ILB*:*2012 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile

Gerald Hodges Combine Stats… Gerald Hodges*|*Penn State,*OLB*:*2013 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile

I'm looking forward to seeing what our new defensive coaches can do with Mauti, Cole, and Hodges. Greenway is a great influence and should have a place on this Team if possible.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As a matter of fact, I do know

They need to restructure him.. He is way overpaid... (2nd highest paid player on the team) and he was overpaid when they gave him that contract.. hes' never been able to cover but usually is a better tackler than he showed last year... I saw restructure or cut his ass...

Greenway is going to be essential to this defense under Zimmer and I think his role will be very important. I think he is a very good player at reading the play ... he just does not always get there in time or wrap up. He seems to still have a good nose for the ball and does not grade that badly.
I think with more talent at the other LB spots ... Greenway becomes a Pro Bowl caliber player. I feel like last season he felt the pressure of being the ENTIRE LB corps ... I don't think Zimmer will allow that weight to be on his shoulders going forward.
